3 Drops Cabernets 2018

3 Drops Cabernets 2018

The winery is named 3 Drops and the winemaker is Rob Diletti, you may recognise that name in these parts as he was the man responsible for the 98 point Duke Magpie Hill Cabernet and 99 Point Riesling.  He was also named Halliday's Winemaker of the Year 2015.  Needless to say, he's made a fantastic 2018 Cabernets.  Here is how Halliday' described the wine:

"An aristocratic poise to the bouquet, cab franc raspberries hover above spicy French oak and cassis. Dried herbs and tomato leaf, young and agile. When sipped, it shows a quiet confidence, elegant and under-stated. Exceptional value"

But it's not just Australia's leading wine scribe talking about this wine, up and coming Casey Bryan in her review on travellingcorkscrew published

"...in the mouth it's rich and bold yet perfectly balanced with black currents and berries. The tannins are definitely there and here's a nice lingering finish too. More please!"

I will point out that the "exceptional value" Halliday refers to is the price our competitors have it at $27.  Our price of $19.90 really brings the value to another level and you too will be saying "More Please!"
