Apollonis Meunier Blanc De Noirs NV
A relatively uncommon 100% Pinot Meunier built from a 50/50 blend of a 2015 base wine and a reserve solara.
"Champagnes from 100% Pinot Meunier arenât common, but can be delicious: scents of grilled nuts, hints of ironbark honey, a touch of peach, long and savoury. A rare treat." Max Allen - Gourmet Traveller Magazine
âGold in the glass, the nose presents a classic Meunier profile with its ample reserves revealing peaty/smokey and dark rye aromas. On the palate, it appears quite rich and âfatâ with fruit mince flavours, broad execution, and discernible silky texture. A flavourful medium-length finishâ Vine and Bubble Magazine
Certified Organic
The estate has been awarded the High Environmental Value (HVE) certificate, the highest award recognising respect and care for the land, the environment and its biodiversity. Only natural fertilisers are used to treat the vineyards (itâs been over a decade since Michel has eradicated all use of herbicides). Michel firmly believes that getting things right in the vineyard allows healthy grapes to be harvested, which enables minimal intervention in the winemaking process.
